SurveyGenie (“we”, “us”) operates the survey platform available at surveygenie.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and a hashed password (if you sign up with email). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image.
- Survey content — the surveys you create and the responses submitted to them by your respondents.
- Usage data — pages visited, referrers, device type, and approximate location (country), collected via Vercel Analytics to help us understand how the service is used.
How we use it
- To provide and maintain the service.
- To send you transactional emails (account welcome, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
- To improve the product and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share limited information with service providers strictly to operate SurveyGenie:
- Vercel (hosting + analytics)
- Neon (database hosting)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
- Google (OAuth sign-in, if you use it)
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your account and data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your surveys, responses, and personal information from our database within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies strictly necessary for the service to function (sign-in session) and for privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify individuals.
